that's my JAM (part 1)

Last week Lin's Random Thursday was all about music you never get tired of. I LOVED that topic. I loved looking around at what everyone else listed, but didn't have the time to get my crap together to actually post something last week. I couldn't let the topic go untouched though, and I couldn't go without sharing with you some of the music that IS MY JAM. So, I've decided that occasionally I'll share some songs that never get old for me. Ever. As in, I will repeat them forever and ever, amen. (For real, I will.) So without further ado...

A lot of songs featured on the that's my JAM posts will be past favorites because, well, that's where the good music lives, my friends. But don't you fret for a second, I'll skip the Dashboard Confessional stage of my life.

You're welcome for that. Moving on...

First off, if you follow me on Twitter, this song comes as no surprise to you and is the most recent on the list. Also, if you don't know what this song is, welcome to daylight from the rock you've been living under. Have you heard about the Kimye baby yet?

Next lets go in an entirely different direction to my high school days. To the song that I have to muster all of my strength to change the station when it comes on and my daughter is in the car because it is pretty much the definition of not a children's song. Guilty pleasure music at it's finest...(and if you're at work or in the presence of children and perhaps don't know this song shameonyou, you need to put yo headphones on)

Thirdly, I'll let my Texas side hang out with a song that reminds me of my high school days when I learned to salsa and meringue. Betcha didn't know this white girl can dance.

And lastly, I couldn't go without adding a tune from one of my favorite movies of all time. Plus I had to put an in my feelings hauntingly beautiful song in there somewhere.

Stay tuned for part two in the near future!

What about you? What are some songs that never get old for you?
