Can I just be cliche for a moment and say that I can't believe that Little Bug was ever this small? I mean, I know she was...but now it's hard for me to believe that she was ever tiny and bald, and that there was a time where she didn't run everywhere full speed.

We have arrived at her birthday month. The month where my baby will turn 2. 2!! And you know what, I'm not going to say "I can't believe she's 2!", because I believe it. Though the calendar does not yet say she is 2, she is 2 in every sense of attitude, curiosity, and sass. Now, I don't leave her unattended for long periods, never have because, duh, but of course I used to turn around for a minute to, you know, stir dinner. Or to walk across the room to sit down. But now? Not an option. This week alone, in those very short time spans aforementioned, we have had a lovely drawing added to the arm of the couch, and a glass of water (full) spilled on my cell phone. Luckily the only real problem is that I now have a phone that spontaneously shuts off during phone calls...but for real it's the 2s up in here!

Needless to say, it's a bit busy around these parts. There's keeping up with the little, training for the 5k and future 10k (as a family! fun!), Winter Shape Up, play dates, and life...we're in a busy season. Not to mention there has been some additional dreaming and change popping up because I like to keep it interesting, obviously.

But more on that later. Just wanted to hop in and say that if I'm a little sparse (especially in blog reading/commenting/returning emails) in the next few weeks it's to be expected. We're finding our groove, and I'm sure we'll be back in it soon enough.
